Summer Beach Towel Patterned Papers

Today I finally have my patterned papers ready for viewing. These were a lot of fun to create. I got my inspiration for the palm leaves, trees, flamingos and the flipflops from printed fabrics found on the web.

Download here: Patterned Papers

Please enjoy, and let me know what you think.
EDIT: The file is large - 32,353 KB ... So, I've split it up into 4 smaller downloads, if that's what you prefer: Patterned Papers 1, Patterned Papers 2, Patterned Papers 3, Patterned Papers 4
Being so new at this, I'm not sure what works best for everyone. Feedback is most welcomed.

Working On More Papers

I'm now creating a set of patterned papers to go along with the solids. I've had some very creative ideas that didn't turn out so pretty ... but the rest should be ready for public view in the very near future.

Today, I added a photo of me and a little about me.

FWI - it's 107 degrees here. The number alone makes me start sweating! Truth is, I love central Texas regaurdless of these temperatures.

Blog Design

Well my first blog design will have to be incredibly simple, given what I know about html editing. I began by trying to decide what my personal color scheme would be. After playing around for hours, I finally chose to use a scheme called Beach Towel from the Color Schemer Gallery.
Although these colors don't represent my personal taste, they are fun for the summer. I've designed a simple banner and adjusted a few of the blog colors. This will work for the time being. Next task will be to design something useful for my readers. Of which, I don't seem to have any ... yet.

LotsaLahti's New Blog

Welcome to my newest spot on the world wide web. The purpose of this blog is to log my progress towards my goal of becoming a designer of digital scrapbooking items. I've toyed with the idea for quite some time and I'm ready to give it a shot. My first task is to design my blog space.

Of course, I hope to open up a bit and allow my readers to get to know me better along the way.

Words of encouragement are always welcomed.
